Washing your cloth masks!
A quick laundering or washing is equally important as wearing a face mask. It is necessary to wash daily to keep the masks clean.
If your mask is wet or dirty from sweat, saliva, make-up, or other liquids or substances it needs to be washed or keep it sealed in a plastic bag until you can wash it. You can include your mask with the regular laundry and the appropriate settings according to the fabric label. If washing by hand, use warm water with laundry detergent or soap and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove the detergent or soap. Then dry your mask, either outside, indoors on a hanger, in a tumble dryer or on a hot radiator.
Make sure that you wash your hands and then apply antibacterial hand gel after touching a used mask and whenever you get home!
